Description

This is an industrial project led by NextLinks that is working closely with the Government of Pakistan to protect Quetta from security threats. It is part of the Quetta Safe City Project. Our project is unique because it focuses on patrolling the city borders and keeping track of incoming and outgoing people. This Safe City Project would undoubtedly be dealing with a lot of sensitive data and it’s only fitting for it to be developed by locals instead of an offshore software house or using a pre-developed system. We are developing this system from scratch to make this safe, efficient and robust enough to be deployed at such a large scale. We will be looking into modern machine learning and deep learning algorithms which may be a potential replacement for the traditional fingerprint identification method and can possibly stand out from the already available open source software’s.
